Had this beautiful mantle custom built. It is 88” wide by 6” tall by 11 1/2” deep. Had to take it apart to take it down. Only replacing it because I redesigned my fireplace. Anyone with the slightest woodworking skills can put it back together on the wall with finishing nails. It does have a few holes drilled in it for the purpose of hidingcables and cords.
